If anyone even remembers who he was………
I appreciate the intelligent answers so far.
And some of the non-intelligent ones too.
Had he not been a drug user, Michael Jordan would have had a lot more competition for the face of the NBA in the 80’s and the 90’s, and maybe Len Bias would have made the All NBA 75th anniversary team.
Had he not OD’d, but continued with his drug problems, he would have been decent, but his drug problem would have derailed his career, much like Roy Tarpley and the others who had drug problems they couldn’t overcome.
And thanks for asking, because a lot of kids these days need to know about players like Len Bias…
In fact, I would go so far as to say that he had elements of Michael, ‘Nique, and Barkley, all in one person…

we’ll never know…but I’d venture to say that ALLEN, GARNETT and PIERCE would NOT be there today.

Interesting question. I remember well his playing for Maryland and how great he was at it. I’m sure he would have been a NBA star. Did they ever come to a conclusion about his death?I don’t remember.

How is Len Bias like a rose…….both die the day after you pick them…………………….Someone asked his coach, Lefty Drissell , "do you hate black people?" Lefty responded,"no, i don’t have a bias."

Len Bias probably would’ve become a great big man and possibly a hall of famer. The Celtics would’ve been the most dominant dynasty of all time with Len Bias, Larry Bird, McHale etc. The Showtime Lakers- Boston Rivalry would’ve been even more entertaining with Abdul- Jabbar and Bias battling it out down low. Too bad he had to pass away….
